Over the weekend it was hot, and for me I mean HOT. Not to mention I had a heat headache for 2 days. But mid afternoon Saturday I just couldn't be bothered with trying to clean up anymore and just wanted to do something quick and simple and have a little craft therapy. And so I started looking about for some card sketches as they always used to help me when I was an avid cardmaker.
I used this sketch from Clean and Simple stamping HERE
And so I decided to go very simple and I used the BEST FRIENDS stamp set coming to my store Give a Girl a... HERE in March 2013 and you can PRE-ORDER yours today and use the code GIVEAGIRLA to get 15% OFF
And I even did an inside, just something very plain and simple and something I never used to do...
But I just couldn't stop at one and this one I did struggle with just a little. Which is not what it was meant to be about, but sometimes the more I try quick, simple and easy the more I want to add 101 things. Again I used the BEST FRIENDS stamp set, along with Dear Lizzy, Lucky Charm 6x6 paper pad from Polka Dot Creative HERE.
For this card I played along with the following sketch above from Mojo Monday, one I would join in with many moons ago and mainly when I was a SU! demo.
I tried to stick with the sketch as much as I could. And I am so not a sewing person haha!
Is it bad that I like the inside more than the outside haha?
I hope you all have a great week. Raining here today, raining! Been so hot for going on 16 days I am glad for some rain.
