All of a sudden I keep getting this feeling to make a card, not very good, but I am getting the feel again after so long of not making them. I am loving not using images and colouring them like I used to. That took up some time and I notice it even more so now.
Here is the sketch I joined in with from Retro Sketch Challenges, a challenge blog that I just come across and think I will be back as their sketches look really easy to use and allow room for your own creativity.
Here is my card using the new Mother's Day stamp set coming to Give a Girl a... in April 2013
No your not seeing double. I stamped the sentiment and then wanted to get a shadow effect, like in the bottom corner and I totally buggered it up and by then I was too commited lol, I had used the rubon already and sewn around the edges, there was just no going back.
MATERIALS USED : White cardstock, kraft cardstock, doily, white paint, felt arrow from {scrAp this}, 6x6 Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm with Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm Rubons from Polka Dot Creative. Stamps from the new Mother's Day stamp set coming in April to Give a Girl a... I love you, Happy Mother's Day, Worlds Best Mum, My Mum, MUM, hey mum, mum, mum, mum, I love you more than ice-cream and I love you to the moon. That is using 8 stamps with 11 in the set.
And this is on the inside of the card...
