Ok I lied there are two different bits of cardstock, when I started this idea I was going to try and stick with one. But the idea of trying white was just too much not to try. Today I am sharing a few simple cards I made using the new July set I released, My Home and the new set being released tomorrow called, Thrifted. It's the set with the triangles I have been using lately and that I love. I decided to make some simple cards to share with you all that are so easy and I think they look really effective.
I also used vellum, and a bit of warning.... I stamped it all out, loved it, then stamped the sentiment with my black archival ink pad and left it to dry, I looked over and was thinking, no, no, please no. I then tried with memento and it stamps lighter but perfect. Just a little hint there for you if you have archival ink pads like I do.
I used my stampin' up! ink for my white that I have had since I was a consultant many years ago and it's still going strong. I really liked the gold ink on the kraft, but it was a bugger to try and photograph that was sure. I LOVED the triangles stamped in gold onto the vellum, but I did not like it once I attached it to the kraft, go figure. But still all in all, they were quick, simple and effective.
