This is another 'pinterest' seen and attempt project. Apparently there is a designer in the US that makes these but of course not how I am about to show you, and they are pretty expensive. But I am going to share with you, that you don't need to spend hundreds to have a cute necklace with your favourite animal. The picture above is everything my girls and I used.
- Spray Paint - $5.10
- Animals - $3.00
- String - $2
- Hooks $2
Total $12.10. The animals came in a bag, so best of all, you can make about 10 if you wanted. Perfect even for party favours, or special gifts, Christmas is just around the corner after all.
Adding the little hooks was easier than I thought it would be. I then got some scissors, but something else would be better but with Luke being away, I had no idea where to start looking. To push the hook together, otherwise there is a gap and the thread would just slide straight out. I do plan on getting some chain, leather and etc, to try more ways to make them, but for the first time I didn't want to over spend and not have it work out. But we were all thrilled to bits and just another way to use gold spray paint! I am planning to use the moose for a keyring. So see many uses.
