I shared a blog post with 20 things you could blog about, here. A few I listed, I am yet to tackle myself. When I was looking around my craftroom to once again cut back on what I have. I noticed all my unfinished projects laying around the room, basically taking up space.
I took them all out, photographed them and put them on a space that is behind my desk. Every time I walk into my craftroom, they are the first thing I see.
My aim? To get them done and dusted by the end of the year. There are 11 all up, I was going to take some away and make it one per month, but come on, I'm here to challenge myself and if I really, really wanted, I could get a few done in one day if I just took the time.
Want to know what they all are? First here they are, all together, all waiting to be finished, or started.
When you see the same picture twice, no it's not a mistake, some projects are big and I have two uses for. So I separated them, more so for myself. I know confusing, trust me, it will make sense when you scroll thorough this post.
Something I have wanted to start doing is to decorate the girls rooms, both Heidi and Chloe's and Kira's. I have wanted to make one of these for so long, here. Seems simple enough right? I actually think it would suit Kira's room more so for what I have in mind.
I have a love for foxes, I don't know what it is about them, but I find them amazing, foxes and ferrets. I would love a ferret, one day. So when I came across this idea of geometric string art on canvas, here. I knew straight away, fox. Printed, have the canvas and yet to do it.
When Luke and I stopped at Bunnings some time back before Christmas and I walked around the corner with this in hand, his face was classic... Swear there was an eye roll too. What on earth do you want that for he asked? To make chopping boards, like these, here. Duh, pretty obvious Luke, kidding, haha.
Been following my blog since about April last year? Then you will remember this attempt to make a blanket for my bed right? Refresh your memory and for new readers, the amazing Martha Stewart blanket is, here. I WILL get this done, OH yes I will.
I don't know much about doing embroidery, or even how to do it. BUT, I've always loved seeing them on pinterest like this one, here. People putting just the one word or the a favourite quote. So I bought hoops and have had them for going on a year now. They just get moved about the room.
I made one of these before, here. I made the smaller, thinner version. I now want to make the thicker, chunky looking one that was in the youtube clip I used as well, and even in the same colour, as I love this yellow/mustard colour.
I made sure that when I did pick this out at Bunnings that even after making the chopping board I would have enough for a string art project, like these, here.
I absolutely fell in love with this canvas done over at, a beautiful mess, here. I knew right away it was for me. Went and bought the canvas and it has sat in my craft room ever since.
I am not sure this one will ever, ever get done. I am thinking of just making another like the rope basket I made here and call it done. As I would really love to try something like this here. But I have tried, OH boy have I tried and it's just not doing it, or I am but I'm blaming the machine.
This blanket I started while knitting the bed cover knit. I then put it down, picked it back up Summer this year and then put it back down to do my black and white blanket. It's really close to being done and I know I should just sit and do it, instead, I move to another new project each time.
Are you still with me? Long list huh?
Do you have projects you want to get done? Why not blog them, share them, get them out there, set yourself a challenge. Come back and share the link in the comments, let's encourage each other. WE can do this!
