This is what my month of January looked like from a month view [above]. I worried, I worried that I would flop with this project after a month, then I thought maybe I'd get December 2016 done and January 2017 and lose interest. But it's almost mid February and I can't imagine NOT doing this sort of memory keeping. I get asked a lot what size the photos for the monthly spread are. I have to resize them on in my picture mate and then I cut them down to about 3.75cm width and 3.25cm height. I'm never spot on and I always just eye ball it.
This size of the photographs I do within the weeks are 3.5cm width and 5.5cm in height. Sometimes I like having them a little longer and go with 6.5cm. I plan to use the typewriter for the first week of the month from now on. I did it for December 2016 and then this month and realised the pattern. I think it's kinda fun.
The other week I bought some Happy Planner pockets from Scrap Boutique. I never planned to use pockets in my memory planner as I felt that is what my project life is all about. But sometimes I felt I wanted to add more, more photos and try NEW things. Like taking one photo and making it two 4x6 photos. Side note, this block of chocolate is amazing and I love it.
When I was chatting with Tracie on her podcast Live Inspired, Tracie asked me about my Happy Planner and what I was using it for. I mentioned at the start of this that I was doing this because if I fall behind I have something to always look back on, being this is something I can do on the go or take 15 min out of my night to put in that days doings. Then Tracie mentioned it's like a mash up of my project life album for my family and the project all about me in ONE. and I loved that, because it so is.
