I almost feel like I should be adding a #1 in my title, WHY? Because it wont be the last time I have a Queensland holiday. If you've been reading my blog, know me personally or follow any of my social media sites, for a while now, you'll know of my best friend, Kristy. We met 8 years ago via our blogs and it honestly feels like I've known her all my life.
Above is a small bunch of selfies from throughout 8 years, trust me when I say, there are so many more. In December last year Kristy made the move from Victoria to Queensland with her family. I was so excited and happy for her, but also extremely sad. Instead of being a little over an hours drive away, Kristy is now a plane trip or a 17 hour car trip away....... Which means pretty much, she's only a plane trip away, bugger 17 hours in a car, thank you, haha.
For my recent birthday Kristy rang me with exciting news! Kristy had arranged with my husband for Kristy to get me tickets to come and stay with her! Best birthday present. So on the 18th of August I woke up at the ridiculous time of 4am and set off to the city for my 7.30am flight. It was a jam packed 4 days and I loved every moment of it. Leaving was hard, man was it hard... We talk everyday, via snap chat, phone calls, messages and texts, but there is just nothing like being face to face together. There were tears had by both.
So here is a small bunch of photos from my trip.
I had so many photos, so nailing it down to just a BIG handful was hard. There was a lot of food consumed between us, which is so Kristy and I. We love food, we love eating it together even more. I'm pretty sure I've now mentioned to my husband at least a few times we should move. BUT the best part is I'm already looking to go back, early summer of 2018 and I can not wait to stay a little longer and explore the beautiful state of Queensland and spend even more time with my girl.
