15 favourites before 2015 - photos

Today is New Years Eve, wow the year is almost over and another to begin. Where will 2015 take me?  I can't wait to see.  Today I ask you all to share 5 of your favourite photos.  WHAT sort of idea was it to just do 5 photos for the whole year? I was going to cheat and just do 10, but I stuck to my guns and here are my favourite 5 from 2014, most are from only a couple months ago.

This photo was taken at the very start of the year and I just absolutely love the way the sunlight was coming in over the girls playing with their toys.

This is my favourite place in the house to relax, besides my bed.

While taking part in the week in the life, still to complete, but hey more on that another day.  I decided to ask the girls to get a quick snap before they left the car to walk into school.  It turned out perfect.

 

I can't take credit for this photo, it was taken by Kira.  I honestly think it's my favourite photo of Pippa.  It captures the face we all see so often when giving her a pat.  The girl even smiles, I kid you not.

This is the last of my favourite photos for 2014 and was taken on Christmas day.  Which if you follow me on IG and FB, you've already seen it.  I've already got it printed and on my bed side table.

15 favourites before 2015 - craft/diy

So I start going through my blog again, only this time it's on all my crafts, which look when you think about it, is about 85% of what this blog is about.  It then got me to get ideas and then to pinterest and the 3 coffees later and hours later, I was trapped, I only went to look into one thing, one, it lead to many.  I want to make a bunch of things again and got no where with this blog post.  Hurray for it being Summer holidays!

I really could had listed at least 10 projects, even more, I've worked on over the year.  That's a good thing to be so proud of your own work.  These 5 are what stood out to me the most this year.

This literally took me 5 minutes to do, I'm not even going to talk it up, haha.  But, I love it, it's on a wall that I see as soon as I walk out of my bedroom, where I have all my favourite things.  You know I love black and white, and while it might not be for some, it's so me.

I love project life and in the past few months I have really started to love my pages again, where I'm going with them and the end result each week.  The less is more approach to me seems to be working.  I love this page, I think because to me it has a balance.  It's almost like a personal page on me?  Shoes, food, naps and coffee, what more could a girl want? Book, I needed a book photo!

I made one of these as the intended dishcloth, but it was FAR too pretty for that.  So I decided to make them smaller and in the form of a coaster and I absolutely love them.  When I shared them, others did as well.

I've made a few of these and while this is completely different from my usual black and white, I loved how it came together and this is in my craftroom right in front of me that I often stare at when thinking of ideas.  It's mini, easy and done within an hour.  In fact I need to make more.

This basket is what got me to pinterest, haha.  This basket/bowl I love.  I've had several people ask me where I bought it, my aunt didn't believe that I made it, how could she doubted me?  I've always wanted to make more and this is why pinterest called me.  I have this on my desk at my office and use it everyday for my keys, phone, headphones etc.  It's not the prettiest looking basket, but I sure think it is.

I got this idea yesterday while thinking about camping, new year, school supplies, project life, stamps, business, crafts, house....  You get the idea, basically pretty much everything.  One big party all up in my head.

Something I did last year, here and the years before on my previous blog, was to look back on the year and share favourite photos month by month or crafts. This year I thought I would mix it up a little.  This year my plan is to share three different blog posts sharing :
