project life cover and title page

Finally I can come and share my cover and title page.  I wish I had of gotten my idea a while back.  As I mentioned in my post about moving forward with 2014 and my week one, I absolutely loved Elise Blaha's cover, that she shared a tutorial on the Studio Calico blog.  I have seen some others come out and they all look just as amazing.  But I kept dawdling, and wanted something that was me.  I see the cover as something I have to love almost like a tattoo haha, as in if I do a week I don't like, that's ok there will be another and another.  But technically there will only be one cover at the start of 2014.  

I went for my LOVE for triangles [as some of your already know I have], I got the idea after I re-designed my header.  

I got this printed 12 x 12 from Persnickety.  The price was good and the shipping not bad. It arrived yesterday and I almost ripped it out of the packaging.  So happy with how it turned out and the quality is perfection!  I didn't make it all perfectly line up on purpose.

On the back I sewed along a 12x12 kraft cardstock, thankful to even find some.  I stamped my stamp, love this moment, here.  While also using alpha's to make 2014.

Yes, I know, no photos of Luke and I.  Luke is not really a photo type of guy, and I wanted the focus to be on our 3 girls.  SO I threw in some random photographs.  I used the, Hello Twenty fourteen, card freebie from a talented blogger, Caylee.  The, this is our life, script card is from my gorgeous friend Jodie.  While again using my favourite Amy Tan alpha's and my type writer to document our age and what we are doing.

So there you have it, my cover, inside and title page, done.
