31 minutes for 31 days in october

 

I'm so glad you're here, I have something really exciting to share.  I've mentioned before that Jessica from Color Cast Designs and I are getting together.  What we have planned is to help you crank out your mini album/s in any shape, size or form, can be handmade, mini instagram album or Jessica now makes personalised albums, YES personalised, here.

The idea came to us when we were chatting the other week that we both love to craft, love it, huge part of our lives, I mean Jessica designs wood veneer and acrylic for paper crafts and I design stamps...  We are pretty committed to paper crafts, haha.  But finding time lately to catch up on our pocket pages has been a struggle, but we love memory keeping.  I mentioned that I find my mini album more appealing to me right now because I can sit down for 15-30 min and have 1-2 spreads done.

Then came the idea to take time out of our day for craft time, because that is our 'me' time.

Followed by that was the idea to use a mini.

Not long after that was to share it with you all and have you play along.

So came 31 minutes for 31 days in October.

The idea?

Grab a mini album of any sort, you can fine the instagram albums within Australia here.  If not in Ausralia, check them out from Scrapbook and More in the USA, here.  As I mention Jessica has wood veneer and acrylic albums that you can also get personalised, here.  Or you could just make your own!

There is no theme, it's a scrap your favourite photos, or a trip you recently had that you've been meaning to do, special event.  Got a box full of pre-printed photos?  Grab that sucker out, time to get them in an album.

The whole point of this is to take a little time out of your everyday [not actually 31 minutes, but a guide], for October and spend a little time doing what your passionate about, memory keeping.  At the end of the month you get your album full of amazing photos.

I'm in! I found all my old Christmas photos from when we were kids last week and am currently sorting Christmas supplies so my album will be an album of those photos and memories! Can't wait.
