diy 'no sew' velcro banner with a giveaway

When I was contacted and asked if I would be interested in teaming up with VELCRO ® to use their new line of products VELCRO ® Sticky Back for Fabrics it was an absolute no-brainer, given that I love DIY projects and no sewing?  Yes please.  When the kit arrived I loved it all.  Best of all you get a little velcro left over and already I'm thinking of what Christmas creation I can come up with.  For now let me share the banner that comes with everything you need and instructions that are so simple to follow.  Someone else that is sharing her banner and having a giveaway is Sam from Dunne with Style, here.  I love her blog name and that it ties in so well with her last name.

While the instructions show you how to not have the threads on the outside, those that follow me know I love things like this, and so I life it as is.

The result = This awesome banner that is going to look awesome displayed in my craftroom.  Something to brighten my day.  It could also make a perfect gift either made or not made.

I think it would look great in my craft room but I'm sure that my girls would want to claim it for their room - my 7 year old would want to make it too!!! come to think of it, that colour combo (pink/grey/white) would go perfectly with their new doonas when i re-vamp their room!!!
