Every year since 2013 I've had my one little word to guide me for the year. A couple of times I bought the class by Ali Edwards. Each and every time I failed in keeping up with even the first lesson. Last year I didn't purchase the class, but I still wanted a word to guide me in 2016. Previously my words have been, 2013 - BE. 2014 - EMBRACE. 2015 - CREATE and in 2016 - BALANCE. I lost my way with BALANCE in 2016. 2016 for me saw a lot of ups and downs and personal inner struggles, but with the help of friends, family and re-connections, I feel as though the past few months I've had more balance than my whole year. Apart from a few days before Christmas, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, there was absolutely NO balance going on there, just a whole lot of stress, that I caused in my own head, haha, as you do.
2017 my word is going to be FOCUS.
I want to FOCUS on the little things in life and the big things. I want to FOCUS on myself and my family, as well as my friendships. I want to FOCUS on my little store and being more present with Luke and our business. I want to FOCUS on setting goals and aiming for them. I want to FOCUS on healthier eating for the body and the mind. My word for 2017 is FOCUS.
Love your word! I'm still searching for my word and it's almost day two!
This is my first time participating so I'm like crap I'm already behind!

My word for 2016 was focus and I found it to be very helpful. I managed to get a lot of things accomplished. This year my word is Believe and I have signed up for the course with Ali Edwards for the first time. Thanks for sharing your insights! Happy New Year!

Oh I love your word, it truly can stand so many things in life. I did think about Simplify, but I felt it was a restraining word. I bet 2017 with Flourish will work so much better for you Angie!

I enjoyed having Focus as my word in 2009. I certainly helped me center and improved my concentration and motivation in the areas I wanted to give my attention to.
I am also not so good with on-line workshops and probably better at following my own path!
