EXCITING NEWS : Today I've started a pre-order for the May stamp release. Click here to check out the new stamp sets, Today and Outline It. Today is designed with my girl Jodie from Polka Dot Creative. There is more, for this weekend ONLY you can use the code : NSDAY2015 for 10% OFF your order, until Monday at midnight.
My stamp technique is, stamping on fabric! I recently made a pencil case where I stamped on fabric with A Beautiful Mess emoji stamps, here. I loved the process and so when I was trying to think of my idea for this challenge, I knew I wanted to making something similar, but while trying something new at the same time.

Don't know how to sew? Or don't have a sewing machine? Then this tutorial is for you, here. I used this but instead of glue I did use my sewing machine. The only reason I didn't use glue was because I didn't have it, otherwise I so would of just used glue. My sewing machine and I always get into a fight, haha, I'm not kidding.
MATERIALS USED :
- White fabric
- Mark It - permanent markers
- Rubbing Alcohol
- Sewing Machine
- Zipper
- Stamp Set - Outline It
STEP ONE : watch this tutorial, here.
STEP TWO : once you have your colours picked, colour onto fabric. Always use a scrap bit of fabric first.
STEP THREE : I put my fabric ontop of another bit of fabric. I did this because I noticed when I did my tester the ink soaked through. I also placed both pieces of fabric on plastic, then sprayed a lot of alcohol rubbing.
STEP FOUR : I left mine over night to dry and do it's thing, but I wanted more, so I sprayed again and left for most of the day to dry. Instead of using the top piece of fabric, i used the one underneath. I felt it had more a water colour ink affect. I still plan to use the other for another project at a later date.
STEP FIVE : It's best to iron for a good 5 minutes to set the ink in.
STEP SIX : I then stamped onto the fabric using stazon and the new OUTLINE IT, stamp set.
STEP SEVEN : Since I ironed to set the marker ink, I thought best to iron again, to be safe and set the stazon.
STEP EIGHT : I followed one of these tutorials mentioned above, here.
RESULT :
