It's a NEW release time for Traci Reed and this release is SO stinking cute and you're going to love it.  Perfect for all your Easter crafts.  Easter isn't the same this year, normally we'd be camping with friends as we do each year.  It's a little hard on the girls to not have that time to catch up with their friends that go along, as they catch up maybe 3-4 times a year.  BUT then now thankfully with technology they keep up to date with each other so much more.  BUT this is about my fave chocolate at Easter and that's the crunchie bunny!
I've used the new Kellie Stamps Egg-Tastic stamp set that is available in digital this year only.  It was so fun to do something a little different yet the same with repeat stamping!
As always it's not a pocket without sequins right?  I've used the 4x6 mini pocket page notebook from The Stamp Spot.

31 minutes for 31 days | october | day 30

31/30 #31minutesfor31days. For this week I decided to go and use all the off cuts from Cocoa Daisy that I'd already fussy cut, because boy do they take some time doing, haha. So I'm going to be sure to use them.⁠  I've used the Bishop Street Alpha from Kellie Stamps to date the week, which was not something I'd done before and loved the result. But then this alpha is my fave for 2019. BIG call, sticking with it.⁠

I'm one day away from 31/31.  I can DO IT!

For this month I got a little snap happy with the Halloween snap chat filters... Because who doesn't right? I knew instantly that the digital card kit from @pushprintstudio would be perfect for this month in the album all about ME.⁠  Which this month seemed to be all about selfies, happy mail and Valerie.

31/24 #31minutesfor31days. Another play with getting creative with fussy cutting and before I've gone back and typed all the stories. I've used a few freebies from Cocoa Daisy.⁠  Fussy cutting is something I used to do a lot of back in my card making days and I haven't really done it for some time now. Yet now it seems I can't stop, haha.⁠

Over the weekend just gone I created this layout for no reason other than to create and see where it goes. Again with the fussy cutting with the Cocoa Daisy freebie, October 2019 Autumn Whimsy. This photograph of my feet is from Autumn in 2017... Feels like just last month.  I was walking the girls to school that day and remember it pretty clearly. Which is weird, considering I can't tell you much about yesterday?!   A sequin pocket for the win. I got inspired by Diane of Dearly Dee some time back to use sequins in the pockets in the pocket page notebooks from the Australian retailer and creator, The Stamp Spot, and I've been doing it ever since.
While I was getting creative over the weekend gone with the weather being less than average. We're meant to be in Spring, heading into Summer. One day it's hot and I mean HOT and the next it's pouring rain, it's wasn't cold, but not warm either... 4 seasons in one week.⁠⠀ I did even more fussy cutting, I'd forgotten how much I used to enjoy it. This freebie from @cocoa_daisy I've now printed three times... Don't judge me, the mushrooms are CUTE!⁠⠀I cut down the TN style freebie layout pages to fit into the micro planner and here is how it came out.

It seems to be a Traci Reed Designs sort of day , lol. Not planned, just how it panned out today.⁠   I saw fellow crafter Sabrina post to her instagram a share of her planner spread, using the Ghouls Like You, digital kit from Traci Reed and LOVED it. When I saw Traci's spread in her planner, it sealed the deal for me, I was doing it. ⁠ Some fussy cutting later, [maybe Santa might bring me a silhouette?, lol]. ⁠ I'm sharing this a little ahead of time with still only being up to August in my happy memory planner and I haven't gone and typed all the stories in for the week. But I was wrapped with how it came out and god knows when I'll get to October, haha. So just had to share now.⁠

project life 2019 | week #39

One, two, skip a few and end up in week 39 from 35.  During those weeks we were all mainly sick with the flu and not a lot of things were going on.  Instead of 'trying' to fill in the weeks I decided some time ago that if there aren't any stories to tell, then I wont go and fill in weeks just for the sake of it.  Now here is how week 39 looked with many signs of Spring.

31 minutes for 31 days | july | day 1

I'm still toss up if this is what I want to do with my 31 minutes for 31 days.  I still struggle with myself and guilt of doing something for myself.  Yup, here I am the one that's pushing it and yet I'm struggling myself.  One thing I keep telling people is that there is ABSOLUTELY no rules when it comes to doing something for yourself.  I was chatting with someone about this project when I was figuring out my plans and one thing that kept coming back, was using one of the many now stacked up TN kits from Studio Calico.  Will I do it?  Maybe, I have a plan to keep it super simple if I do.  For now my plan is to design a quote and share for you to download and use and here is day one.

My friend and I love to read, but while talking we mentioned how we wanted to read more, but just didn't.  After talking about our recent book hauls and the fact we only read half of them before making another book purchase, we decided to pick a book a month we both read and so started our little book club, of two, haha.  I purchased, The Girl Before, not long after it was released.  Kristy had also purchased it in her recent book haul, so made sense to make it our book for April.

#the100dayproject | 2019 | three digital cards

Ok, so I've fallen slightly behind with the stamped cards for the 100 day project.  I did plan to do one month physical and one month digital, but I've just been enjoying stamping to darn much.  Honestly I work at the computer enough, so the less time I can spend there, the better.  I've had these cards designed back when I was doing 31 minutes for 31 days and never shared them.  I had planned to try and do more to make a full set, but time always gets away from me.  So instead here they are, all three.  Making me now officially back on schedule.  I'll have a plain black and white version soon.

My eldest has been getting out the camera and taking a bunch of photos lately, works well for me as her subjects are usually the girls.  There is a retro almost my teen years feel to the photos, with red eyes etc, oh the good old red eyes when you would get out a pen and colour them in.  This week her subject was Heidi and her new penny board she'd gotten for her birthday and my subject was Valerie, haha!

This week was photo heavy, more so than most weeks lately with it being Heidi's birthday, a family member's 40th and my father in laws birthday, add in that it was a long weekend and the girls had little athletics on the Friday and you have yourself more photos.  Which I LOVE.  I love it even more when it's photos of my girls.  Here is how it all came together.

project life 2019 | week #9

For this week I decided to have a play around with the fuse tool and really like the result.  I did think later on that I could of just backed the photo on the pattern paper, but then it wont be as protected.  For this week I've use a bunch of Kellie Stamps products, from digital to stamps and the wood veneer alpha set just released.  Also added in some pattern paper and bits and bobs from my current favourite paper line from Crate Paper.  here is how the week came together.
