I'm still slowly plugging away at this project as well as the December project and then all my other regulars in between...  Did I over commit?  I mean maybe, but I'm determined and even if I'm working on them in February 2019, I'm going to get these FINISHED, haha!  Day seven on my list, Reflecting on Gratitude, HERE, is 'This Girl' and I couldn't imagine my life without this girl in it.

reflecting on gratitude | day eleven

I've had this photo printed some time back and wasn't sure when or how I was going to use it, but knew I would.  Finally it was time and it was perfect to fit in with day 11 in my notebook for Reflecting on Gratitude, HERE.  You know what I love about using a large photo?  It just makes the layout 9 times out of 10 come together so easily with the photo telling the story.  Taking inspiration to draw another dotted line, from Heba.

reflecting on gratitude | day eight, nine and ten

Skipping day seve3n for now to share later within the month.  Here I decided to add three days to the one layout and here is why, on the Reflecting on Gratitude list I created, days 8,9 and 10 are morning, comfort and routine, all which involve.... COFFEE.  Here is how it looked putting them all in the one layout.

So is it cheating if I manage to get two of the list in the one spread?  I surely hope not because I'm pretty sure I'm going to try three to the one layout.  Just seeing if I can make it work today, haha.  Regardless here are both days 5 and 6 of Reflecting on Gratitude, movies and a quote.  SO I took a my favourite quote from Mama Mia Here We Go Again, BEST MOVIE EVER.  I loved everything that came out of Tanya's mouth, haha.

reflecting on gratitude | day four

So day four on the list I created, Reflecting on Gratitude is FOOD.  This pizza, OMG it was beyond good!  The way the topping as done was something I hadn't tried before, it was SO good.  Luke rang me on a Friday afternoon and said, what are you doing.  Id' just taken the girls to maccas for an afternoon, end of week treat.  he said have you eaten..............ummmmmmm no.  I'd only had a iced coffee and girls just frozen drinks.  A customer he does work for cooked it for him.  Will definitely go back for another some day soon.

Day three for my list I created on Reflecting on Gratitude for 2018 is FAMILY and nothing says family to me more than my three daughters that I love with all my heart.

reflecting on gratitude | day two

I will admit the process for this project has been a lot slower than my 31 minutes for 31 days.  I think it's mainly because I didn't keep it simple enough.  What I mean is that most weekends I'm working on catching up with project life and other design team commitments, and because I've chosen to do this in a TN, it takes a bit longer than 30 minutes most days, because I'm picky.  BUT in saying that I'm not giving up, I'm currently at day 8.  For now here is day 2.

reflecting on gratitude | day one

So I'm going to try and get caught up in sharing on my blog, until then here is day one.  Day one from the Reflecting on Gratitude list is simple, it's ME.  To share yourself.  We should all realise how special we are and to stop being so hard on ones self.  Says me, haha.  It's something I'm working on, to love myself more.  I didn't realise how much I like to layer, until you take everything away.  But I like the process of challenging myself to only use this kit for the first page and stamps of course.

reflecting on gratitude | my plans

After doing the 31 minutes for 31 days project, I've usually ran out of steam, yet I still attempt a gratitude project of some sort.  This year I've really enjoyed my 31 minutes for 31 days project, as I kept it rather simple and it was manageable.  I'm planning to do similar for the new Reflecting on Gratitude project I'll be working on during November.  You can check out the list I created, HERE.

My over all plan is to use a travelers notebook from Studio Calico with instax and normal photos and keep it to a bare minimal when it comes to using products.  I'll be using what's in the kit, maybe a few things from my stash, Color Cast Designs and my stamp sets from Kellie Stamps.  Focusing more so on what I'm reflecting that day.  On the cover I have kept it super simple with the dates stamped using a roller date stamp and the circle veneer from Color Cast Designs, that you can still purchase, but get in quick, HERE.

30 days in november | reflecting on gratitude

To continue on from taking 31 minutes for 31 days, to do something for yourself, I'm going to be working in a mini pocket page notebook with the list I've created below and reflecting on my 2018 so far.  Once again just like the 31 minutes for 31 days there are so many ways you can go about this project.  You don't have to use photos, you could journal from each topic, reflect on your year so far in 2018.

As I mentioned above, this time around I plan to use the list above with a mini pocket page notebook from The Stamps Spot.  I attempted this last year and got almost half way and struggled with the time of year, concerts, end of year activities, etc.  But doing the 31 minutes for 31 days this year so far has really helped me in taking some time for me.
